Educating Doctors

to become excellent Paediatricians

At ALJESAL we believe in providing the very best medical care for children. That's why we've made it our lifework to help Australian and New Zealand Paediatricians and Trainees reach their maximum potential.

About Us

Our mission is to provide excellent medical care for children. That's why, over 25 years ago, we created a comprehensive 10-day paediatric course, with the best sub-specialist teachers. Our course is for doctors aiming to pass the FRACP Paediatrics written exams or College Physicians looking for a paediatric Update.

Over the years, we've helped around 40-50% of all current Paediatricians in Australia and New Zealand pass their FRACP exams and reach their potential, producing College Medalists on multiple occasions. Trainees who take our courses not only pass their exams, they benefit from decades of experience from leading Paediatricians. Each individual comes out of our 2 week program with the knowledge, skills and confidence to bring their quality of care to the next level.

Having been around for a quarter of a century, ALJESAL has become a tight-knit community, with courses offering excellent networking opportunities. In fact, 60% of our current expert lecturers are previous ALJESAL attendees themselves.

  • Delivering excellent FRACP exam results including medalists
  • Created and run with Paediatric and educational expertise to maximise results
  • Teaching from expert sub-specialists
  • Pioneer in the industry with over 25 years of experience
  • Tight-knit community with great networking opportunities

Course Outline

If becoming the best Paediatrician you can be is a priority for you, then welcome to the club. Whether you're aiming to pass your FRACP written exam or you're already a College Paediatrican looking for a Physicians Update, we've got you covered.

ALJESAL's Paediatric Course covers all paediatric sub-specialties in proportion to their weighting in the FRACP Written Examination. Fellows of the College attending for a General Physician Update are eligible for 50 points under the Individual Learning Project Category.

Over a period of 2 weeks (10 working days) you'll be exposed to a world class teaching experience, composed of face-to-face lectures and tutorials, with heaps of practice exam questions and a trial exam.

More Importantly, you'll profit from a wealth of clinical experience, learning valuable lessons from experts in each sub-specialty.
